"It’s entertaining enough but a bit empty."
"The filmmakers should be grateful that Powell is running as fast as he can while carrying their dead weight."
"Wright juggles dystopian thrills, satire, sentiment, and slapstick, but never nails any of them. The result is a genre mashup that feels more muddled than masterful."
"After decades of every dystopian movie trying to look like Blade Runner or Mad Max, it’s almost refreshing to see one that looks like nothing at all."
"Glen Powell continues to do a lot of Tom Cruising, which has its good and bad effects. The action is entertaining enough, but there isn't a strong argument in my mind for this remake to exist."
"The film had a great cast, great elements but didn’t quite hit the heights of a great film."
I wanted this movie to be good. I enjoyed the cheesiness of the Arnold Schwarzenegger original, but this movie did have that same feel. This movie should have kept the concept of the Gladiators (stalkers) that were over the top characters treated like gods. They had their own personalities, but the Hunters in this movie completely lacked that. Just watch the original movie again if you want some laughs and cheesy action.
Boring and derivative. Not funny. A shadow of the first one.
I normally do not like movies like The Running Man ,but it was okay. It was too futureistic for me !
wait for it on tv, the original was better
Was expecting some solid action and an interesting story for the runner and *kind of* got it.
A ridiculous action packed good time. It was exactly what I was hoping for.
